International symposium "100 years of quantum mechanics: science, technology and the future" was held

Today, June 6, 2025, in the Great Hall of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of Srpska, on the occasion of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology 2025, the International Symposium "100 Years of Quantum Mechanics: Science, Technology and the Future" was held. The Symposium featured 10 plenary lectures, panel discussions and poster sessions.
The symposium topics included crucial moments in the historical development of quantum mechanics, contributions that shaped this field up to modern theories, understanding the essential aspects of quantum physics, and presenting contemporary quantum technology and the future of quantum science.
The papers from this meeting will be reviewed and published in the symposium proceedings and a special issue of the journal Contemporary materials.
