The 18th International Scientific Conference "Modern Materials" was held on September 12, 2025 in the Great Hall of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka, starting at 9:00 a.m. The meeting was opened by the Minister, Prof. Dr. Željko Budimir, and the attendees were addressed by the President of ANURS, Academician Dragoljub Mirjanić, Director of the Science Fund of Serbia, Academician Nenad Filipović, Rector of the University of Banja Luka and Corresponding Member of ANURS, Prof. Dr. Radoslav Gajanin, and Vice-Rector of the Technical University of Gabrovo, Prof. Dr. Hristo Hristov.
