Interacademy Cooperation
The Academy of Sciences and Arts is open to all forms of scholarly cooperation with the other Academies and with similar scientific, research and artistic institutions worldwide. One of the important tasks of the Academy is an exchange of scholarly and artistic accomplishments in the region and beyond, as we believe that this is the only way to contribute to the development of science and art to which no national boundaries must present an obstacle.
Members of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of Srpska are eminent scholarly and artistic workers who are active not only in our region, but also worldwide. They have given numerous lectures in the world-known universities, their papers have been published in foreign magazines, they have been involved in the work on international projects. A number of the Academy’s members are also members of the other Academies: The Serb Academy of Sciences and Arts, the World Academy of Arts and Sciences (WAAS), Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Balkans Academy of Sciences.
The Academy has made the cooperation agreements with a number of the Academies in the region and the rest of the world. The agreements that were made constitute a starting point for a number of joint activities in all branches of study. The cooperation is conducted through joint scientific and research projects, exchange of scholars and researches, publishing of the results of joint researches, participating in the manifestations of international character organized both by our Academy and the other Academies in the world.
