25th anniversary of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Republic of Srpska

The Academy of Sciences and Arts of Republic of Srpska celebrates, in this year, 25 years since its foundation. In the last 25 years the Academy gave a strong impetus to the spiritual and material development of the Republic of Srpska, established the relations with the scientists and scientific institutions from all over the world. In that period, the Academy organized over 80 scientific conferences, published over 200 hundred publications, established cooperation with several scientific and educational institutions from the world, carried on over 20 research projects in all field of sciences, over the tenths exhibitions of known artist have been organized in the Academy's Gallery.
Therefore, the Academy’s Presidency decided to celebrate this important jubilee by giving the solemn program on 23rd and 24th September 2018 in Banja Luka. This occasion will gather together all Academy members, the representatives of scientific institutions and associations from all over the world, as well as representatives of scientific, educational and cultural institutions from Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives of diplomatic chore and international organizations and all Academy’s associates.
At the first session of Organization Board, the program has been discussed and approved. It was also decided to prepare and publish Monograph on the 25 year work of the Academy and to make a documentary movie that will encompass the work of the Academy in the past period.
